Hi, I’m Charles Hartmann – a Senior Network Systems Technician in Schenectady, NY, with a passion for building things that live on the web.
By day, I keep networks running smoothly. By night, I’m building apps that explore the intersection of AI and everyday life. From wedding photo galleries to AI-powered wearables, I love turning ideas into working software.
What I Build
I work across the full stack – Android apps in Kotlin, web apps with React/TypeScript, Python backends, and self-hosted solutions. Most of my projects involve local AI models (Ollama) because I believe AI should be private and accessible.
